This Shipping & Delivery Policy explains how orders are delivered when you purchase from Egg Chairs UK. It applies to all orders placed through our website.

1. Delivery Coverage
We currently deliver to addresses within the United Kingdom only. Delivery availability may vary depending on location and access requirements.
2. Delivery Method
Our products are large and bulky furniture items. As such, deliveries are carried out using specialist furniture couriers or palletised freight services rather than standard parcel couriers.
Delivery is typically made to the ground floor or kerbside, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Our couriers do not provide installation, assembly, or room-of-choice services unless explicitly stated.
3. Delivery Timeframes
Delivery timeframes are provided as estimates only. Estimated delivery times may vary based on product availability, location, courier schedules, and external factors beyond our control.
Orders are typically processed within 2–5 business days. Processing times may vary during busy periods or due to stock availability.
Once your order is processed and scheduled for dispatch, we or our delivery partner will contact you to confirm delivery arrangements where required.
Please note that delays may occasionally occur due to courier availability, weather conditions, public holidays, or other logistical factors.
4. Delivery Charges
Delivery charges are calculated at checkout or clearly communicated before payment is taken. Delivery fees are based on item size, weight, and delivery location.
Any delivery charges paid are non-refundable once the order has been dispatched, unless required by law.
5. Access & Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for ensuring that:
- The delivery address provided is accurate and complete
- There is suitable access for large delivery vehicles
- Doorways, hallways, lifts and access routes are sufficient for the product dimensions
- Someone is available to receive the delivery at the agreed time
If delivery cannot be completed due to access issues, incorrect address details, or no one being available to receive the order, re-delivery or return charges may apply.
6. Failed or Refused Deliveries
If a delivery attempt fails or is refused after dispatch, the order may be returned to us. In such cases, any additional delivery, storage, or return costs may be deducted from any refund issued.
7. Inspecting Your Delivery
Please inspect your order as soon as possible after delivery. If the packaging or product shows signs of damage, please take clear photographs and notify us within 48 hours of delivery.
This allows us to investigate with the courier and arrange an appropriate resolution.
8. Damaged or Incorrect Items
If your order arrives damaged, faulty, incorrect, or with missing parts, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and supporting photographs.
Where a fault or delivery damage is confirmed, we will arrange replacement parts, a replacement item, or a refund in line with our Returns & Refunds Policy.
9. Ownership & Risk
Ownership of goods passes to you once full payment has been received. Risk passes to you upon successful delivery of the goods to the provided delivery address.
